Fleeting Moments 2009, 48X96 Pastel, Pencil and Watercolor

 

 

This image was inspired by the powerful work of director and photographer, Josh Rothstein, who while on assignment and visiting a refugee camp in Darfur, Sudan captured some amazing photographs of the dramatic events surrounding him. (His heartfelt documentary 3 Points, showcases the inspirational transformation of NBA All-Star, Tracy McGrady as he tours the  refugee camp.)
